The eighteen photographs in this collection were mounted in a volume with descriptive text describing the work of the Bureau. The volume was produced ca. 1945 as part of the Bureau's claim against the estate of John Wanamaker. Depicted are images of African American children and youth at work and play at the Bureau's shelter at 321 North 41st Street and on a farm which was part of the vocational school located in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
